Tuesday Midday Dairy Market Summary - Class III Futures From Being Oversold

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

CORN: 1 Higher
SOYBEANS: 1 Lower
SOYBEAN MEAL: $0.50 Higher
LIVE CATTLE: $0.42 Higher
DOW JONES: 460 Points Higher
NASDAQ: 118 Points Higher
CRUDE OIL: $0.79 Lower

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

The block cheese price remained unchanged at $1.35 with one load traded. The barrel cheese price remained unchanged at $1.40 with no loads traded. The dry whey price declined a penny, closing at 71.50 cents with one load traded. Class III futures are 3 cents lower to 26 cents higher. The only decline is in the November contract. The butter price increased a penny, closing at $1.3550 with 13 loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk increased 1.75 cents to close at $1.1975 with two loads traded. Class IV futures have only traded in the March contract at 13 cents lower. Butter futures are 0.72 cent lower to 2.75 cent higher. Dry whey futures are 0.25-0.40 cent lower. Cheese futures are 0.30-2.00 cents higher. The November Dairy Products report will be released this afternoon.
