Monday Midday Dairy Market Update - Class III Futures Fall

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

LIVE CATTLE: $0.42 Lower
DOW JONES: 806 Points Higher
NASDAQ: 185 Points Higher
CRUDE OIL: $0.95 Higher

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

The block cheese price fell 4.00 cents, closing at $1.35 with eight loads traded. There were three unfilled bids and one uncovered offer. The barrel cheese price remained unchanged at $1.40, with an uncovered offer remaining at the close. The block cheese price may be headed to retest the low at $1.3325 from Dec. 23, 2025. The dry whey price remained unchanged at 72.50 cents with no loads traded. Class III futures are 7-36 cents lower. The butter price declined 3.00 cents, closing at $1.3450 with 17 loads traded. There were two unfilled bids and three uncovered offers remaining. Grade A nonfat dry milk increased 0.50 cent to close at $1.18 with one load traded. Class IV futures are 18-19 cents lower. Butter futures are 1.37 to 5.17 cents lower. Dry whey futures are 1.25-2.57 cents lower. Cheese futures are 0.30-2.60 cents lower.
