Tuesday Midday Dairy Market Summary - Blocks Bounce Back

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

CORN: 2 Higher
SOYBEANS: 2 Lower
SOYBEAN MEAL: $0.10 Lower
LIVE CATTLE: $1.42 Higher
DOW JONES: 1,657 Points Lower
NASDAQ: 805 Points Lower
CRUDE OIL: $0.67 Lower

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

The block cheese price increased 3.75 cents, closing at $1.7075 with one load traded. The barrel cheese price remained unchanged at $1.71 with no loads traded. The dry whey price slipped $0.50 cent, closing at 63.00 cents with no loads traded. Class III futures are 8 cents lower to 36 cents higher. The butter price increased 2.00 cents, closing at $1.64 with 12 loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk increased 0.25 cent to close at $1.13 with two loads traded. Class IV futures have only traded in the December contract at 4 cents higher. Butter futures are 0.30 cent lower to 3.25 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 0.75 cent lower to 0.17 cent higher. Cheese futures are 0.20 to 3.50 cents higher.
