Monday Midday Dairy Market Summary - Butter Falls to a New Low

LIVE CATTLE: $1.92 Higher
DOW JONES: 526 Points Higher

CRUDE OIL: $0.11 Lower

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

The block cheese price increased 2.00 cents closing at $1.7950 with six loads traded. The barrels cheese price increased 0.25 cent closing at $1.7725 with one load traded. The dry whey price increased a penny with one load traded. Class III futures are 3 cents lower to 30 cents higher. The butter price decreased 1.50 cents to close at $1.5800 with 15 loads traded. This is a new low for the year. Grade A nonfat dry milk remained unchanged at $1.11 with no loads traded. Class IV futures are steady. Butter futures are 0.65 cent higher to 2.00 cents lower. Dry whey futures are 0.45 to 1.25 cents higher. Cheese futures are 0.70 cent lower to 3.00 cents higher.
