MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

The block cheese trades 3.5 cents lower at $1.73 with four loads traded. The barrel cheese price dropped 3.75 cents to $1.7425 with no loads traded. There were two offers unfulfilled at the close, no bids remaining. The dry whey price lost 0.25 cents at 56.75 cents with no loads traded. There were two offers and one bid left unfulfilled at the settlement. Class III futures are 5 to 25 cents lower. The butter price is 0.25 cents higher, closing at $2.0150 with no loads traded. There were four remaining bids and two offers left at the close. Butter futures are trading 0.275 to 1.975 cents higher midday. Grade A nonfat closed 0.75 cents lower, at $1.2225 with six loads traded. Two bids and seven offers were left standing at the close. Class IV futures are mixed, trading 5 cents lower to 27 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 0.225 cents lower to 0.5 cents higher.
