MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

The block cheese traded 4 cents lower at $1.69 with four loads traded. There was only one bid and one offer at the close. The barrel cheese price dropped 4.25 cents to $1.70 with one load traded. There were two offers unfulfilled at the close, with no bids remaining. The dry whey price lost 0.25 cents at 56.50 cents with no loads traded. There were three offers and no bids left unfulfilled at the settlement. Class III futures are 5 to 18 cents lower. The butter price is 0.75 cents higher, closing at $2.0225 with two loads traded. There were four remaining bids and no offers left at the close. Butter futures are trading 0.975 to 2.3 cents higher at midday. Grade A nonfat closed 0.75 cents lower at $1.22 with three loads traded. There were three bids and two offers left standing at the close. Class IV futures are mixed, trading 0 to 10 cents lower. Dry whey futures are 0 to 0.725 cents lower.
