Monday Midday Dairy Market Summary - Cash Markets All Trade Lower

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

LIVE CATTLE: $0.95 Lower
DOW JONES: 166 Points Lower
NASDAQ: 264 Points Lower
CRUDE OIL: $0.11 Higher

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

The block cheese price lost 1.50 cents closing at $1.8625 with four loads traded. There were two unfilled offers at the close. The barrel cheese price closed 2 cents lower at $1.79 with four loads traded. The dry whey price declined 2 cents closing spot trading at 62 cents with two loads traded. Class III futures are 11 to 30 cents higher. The butter price declined a quarter of a cent closing at $2.43 with three loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk closed at $1.34 with seven loads traded, that is down a half a cent from Friday. Class IV futures have not yet been traded. Butter futures are 0 to 2.575 cents lower. Dry whey futures are 3 cents lower to 0.550 cents higher.
