Wednesday Midday Dairy Market Summary - Butter Futures Higher

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

SOYBEANS: 14 Lower
SOYBEAN MEAL: $5.2 Lower
LIVE CATTLE: $0.90 Higher
DOW JONES: 90 Points Lower
NASDAQ: 133 Points Lower
CRUDE OIL: $0.70 Higher

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

The block cheese price decreased 0.75 cents to close at $1.5150 with one load traded. The barrel cheese price remained steady at $1.6075 with no loads traded. Dry whey price remained steady at 51 cents with no loads traded. Class III futures are mixed from 4 cents lower to 4 cents higher. Butter price unchanged closing at $2.7750 with no loads traded. There were no bids or offers today. Grade A nonfat dry milk price increased 0.25 cents closing at $1.1950 with four loads traded. Class IV futures are steady to 0.01 cents higher with only the August contract showing activity. Butter futures are 0.375 cents to 2.725 cents higher. Dry whey futures are unchanged to 0.75 cent lower.
