Tuesday Midday Dairy Market Update - Cheese Moves Higher

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

CORN: 2.75 Higher
SOYBEANS: 21 Higher
SOYBEAN MEAL: $5.30 Higher
LIVE CATTLE: $1.30 Higher
DOW JONES: 597 Points Lower
NASDAQ: 250 Points Lower
CRUDE OIL: $0.22 Higher

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

Cheese prices finally moved after a long weekend. Blocks climbed 8 cents to close at $1.9600 with four loads traded. Barrels moved 3.50 cents higher to $1.5825 with nine loads traded. Class III futures were a penny to 23 cents higher. Butter price increased a half cent to $2.3800 with one load traded. Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.2200 with one load traded. Class IV futures haven't seen any trading yet today. Dry whey remained at $0.4500 with no loads traded. Butter futures were unchanged. Dry whey futures were 0.025 cent higher.
