After eight days of a stable price, blocks increased 2.50 cents closing at $1.66 with just 1 load traded. There was an unfilled bid remaining at the close of trading. Barrel cheese price increased 5 cents with 3 loads traded and one unfilled bid remaining. Traders are not buying into the strength as Class III futures are 3 cents lower to 17 cents higher. Butter increased 3.25 cents closing at $1.68 with 11 loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price increased 0.25 cent ending at $1.2575 with one load traded. Dry whey price remained unchanged at 54 cents with no loads traded. Class IV futures are 1 cent to 6 cents higher. Butter futures are 1.50 cents to 2.00 cents higher. Dry whey futures are unchanged. Traders are not getting excited over stronger cash as gains have been short-lived.
