Blocks cheese price initially came under pressure with price declining 1.75 cents before a load was traded. A bid was then placed and continued to be raised with no further interest from sellers. Price closed 2 cents higher at $1.65. Barrel cheese price remained unchanged for the third consecutive day with no loads traded. Butter price declined 2.50 cents closing at $1.69 with 17 loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price slipped 0,.25 cent, closing at $1.1725 with 3 loads traded. Dry whey price remained unchanged at 56.50 cents with no loads traded. Class III futures are steady to 13 cents higher. Class IV futures traded 14 cents lower in the March contract. Butter futures are 4.50 cents lower to 1.25 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 0.25 cent to 1.33 cents higher. USDA will release the February Federal Order class prices Wednesday.
