There were no bids or offers remaining at the close as buyers' needs were satisfied. Barrel cheese price increased 5.50 cents, closing at $1.50 with nine loads traded. There was an unfilled bid and an uncovered offer remaining at the close. Butter could not follow a similar pattern as price declined a penny, closing at $1.2675 with no loads traded. Grade a nonfat dry milk price gained 3 cents, closing at $1.12 with 10 loads traded. Dry whey price remained unchanged at 53.50 cents with no loads traded. Class III futures are 7 to 75 cents higher with April posting the limit-up gain. March through May contracts moved limit-up at one point prior to spot trading. Class IV futures are 17 cents higher. Butter futures are 0.57 cent lower to 0.30 cent higher. Dry whey futures are 0.65 cent to 1.15 cents higher.
