Monday Midday Dairy Market Summary - Mixed Futures

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

CORN: 0.50 Higher
SOYBEANS: 13.50 Lower
SOYBEAN MEAL: $9.00 Lower
LIVE CATTLE: $0.48 Higher
DOW JONES: 24 Points Lower
NASDAQ: 93 Points Lower
CRUDE OIL: $0.49 Higher

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

Cheese prices declined, with barrels moving 3 cents lower to $1.6000 with seven loads traded and blocks moving 1.50 cents lower to $1.8500 with three loads traded. Class III futures resulted in being 9 cents to 25 cents lower. Butter price was up half a penny to close at $2.3800 with seven loads traded. Butter futures were 95 cents to 1.73 cents higher. Dry whey futures were 8 cents lower to 1.20 cents higher. Dry whey spot price was unchanged at $0.4150 with no loads traded. Nonfat dry milk closed at $1.2500, increasing 0.50 cent with four loads traded. Class IV futures were up 10 cents.
