Monday Midday Dairy Market Summary - Slow Spot Trading

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

CORN: 8.50 Lower
SOYBEANS: 1.50 Higher
SOYBEAN MEAL: $8.20 Higher
LIVE CATTLE: $0.23 Higher
DOW JONES: 443 Points Lower
NASDAQ: 203 Points Lower
CRUDE OIL: $2.32 Lower

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

Cheese blocks moved lower 2 cents, closing at $2.0800 with one load traded. Barrels saw a 5-cent increase to $1.9475 with five loads traded. Class III futures were 19 cents lower to 3 cents higher. Dry whey price remained at 45 cents with no loads traded. Butter price also didn't see any movement, staying at $2.9000 with no loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.3600 with no loads traded. Class IV futures saw a 10-cent increase for December. Butter futures were 0.25 cents lower to 2.25 cents higher. Dry whey futures were unchanged to 0.43 cents higher.
