Friday Midday Dairy Market Summary - Cheese Price Weakens

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

CORN: 0.50 Higher
SOYBEANS: 11 Lower
SOYBEAN MEAL: $0.10 Lower
LIVE CATTLE: $1.35 Higher
DOW JONES: 71 Points Higher
NASDAQ: 131 Points Lower
CRUDE OIL: $2.66 Higher

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

Block cheese price declined 4.25 cents, closing at $2.1900 with no loads traded, while barrels fell 6 cents to $2.0100 with two loads traded. Dry whey remained unchanged at $0.7575 with no loads traded. Dry whey futures are a half cent lower. Class III futures are 12 to 37 cents lower. Butter ticked up 1.75 cents to close at $2.7100 with no loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk was up 0.25 cent to $1.8400 with six loads traded. Class IV futures are unchanged to 13 cents lower. Butter futures are up 0.25 cent to 1.75 cents lower.
