Barrel cheese price declined 5.25 cents closing at $1.5175 with 6 loads traded. Barrels may be nearing support as there were 10 unfilled bids remaining at the close with one uncovered offer. Buyers are willing to buy but at lower prices. Blocks are down to the lowest price since July 23 with barrels at the lowest since Sept. 17. Butter price slipped 0.50 cent closing at $1.9350 with 8 loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk remained unchanged at $1.5650 with no loads traded. Dry whey price increase 0.50 cent settling at 65.50 with 2 loads traded. Class III futures are 17 cents lower to 11 cents higher. Class IV futures are 3 cents lower to 10 cents higher. Butter futures are 1.25 cents lower to 0.75 cent higher. Dry whey futures are 0.82 cent lower to 1.00 cent higher. USDA will release the September Dairy Products report Thursday afternoon.
