Block cheese price declined 2.50 cents adding to the weakness already prevalent in the market. Price settled at $1.4750 with 6 loads traded. Barrel cheese price declined 3 cents closing at $1.5850 with 2 loads traded. Butter pried slipped 0.50 cent ending at $1.77 with one load traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price increased a penny ending at $1.27 with no loads traded. Dry whey price declined 0.75 cent closing at 59.50 cents with one load traded. This is putting pressure on Class III futures, but not to extent one would have thought it had. Class futures are steady to 17 cents lower with July showing the greatest loss. So far, overall trading has been limited to contracts through January. Class IV futures have not yet traded. Butter futures are 0.50 cent to 1.00 cents lower. Dry whey futures are 0.97 cent lower to 0.30 cent higher.
