Block cheese price remained unchanged at $1.80 with 2 loads traded. Barrel cheese price increased 0.75 cent closing at $1.82 with one load traded. That in and of itself, should have provided some support to Class III futures, but the decline of dry whey price kept the pressure on prices. Dry whey price declined 1.50 cents closing at 64.50 cents with no loads traded. There were 3 uncovered offers and one unfilled remaining at the close. Sellers wanted to move product, but the buyers was waiting for a lower price. Butter price slipped 0.75 cents closing at $1.7450 with no loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price increased 2 cents closing at $1.34 with 6 loads traded. Class III futures are 19 cents lower to 4 cents higher with June posting the greatest loss while September shows the only gain. Class IV futures are 19 cents lower to 13 cents higher. Butter futures are 0.65 cent to 2.65 cents lower. Dry whey futures are 0.15 cent lower to 1.20 cents higher. Tuesday is the final day to trade April milk futures and options. USDA will release the March Dairy Products report Tuesday.
