Wednesday Midday Dairy Market Summary - Milk Futures Show Limited Strength

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

CORN: 3 Higher
SOYBEANS: 12 Higher
SOYBEAN MEAL: $5.70 Higher
LIVE CATTLE: $2.07 Higher
DOW JONES: 208 Points Higher
NASDAQ: 120 Points Higher
CRUDE OIL: $2.04 Lower

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

The block cheese price gained a penny, closing at $1.6150 with five loads traded. The barrel cheese price declined 2.50 cents, closing at $1.7050 with two loads traded. The dry whey price declined 2 cents, closing at 49 cents with five loads traded. The weakness of dry whey and barrels took Class III futures off their highs with futures ranging from 8 cents lower to 19 cents higher. The butter price increased 3.25 cents, closing at $2.2825 with one load traded. The Grade A nonfat dry milk price remained unchanged at $1.18. Class IV futures have not yet traded. Butter futures are 3.25 cents lower to 0.50 cent higher. Dry whey futures are 1.00 cents lower to 0.50 cent higher. Tariff uncertainty prevails.
