Tuesday Midday Dairy Market Summary - Cheese Continues the Volatility

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

LIVE CATTLE: $0.32 Higher
DOW JONES: 458 Points Higher

CRUDE OIL: $1.82 Lower

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

The block cheese price fell 11 cents closing at $1.78 with one load traded. This is the lowest price since Dec. 11, 2024. There was an unfilled bid remaining at 3 cents lower. The barrel cheese price declined 4 cents closing at $1.85 with one load traded and an uncovered offer remaining at the close. The dry whey price remained unchanged at 73.75 with no loads traded. Class III futures are 4 to 66 cents lower. The butter prices increased by 0.50 cent to close at $2.5350 with three loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk declined 2.50 cents closing at $1.3475 with three loads traded. Class IV futures are unchanged to 10 cents lower. Butter futures are 0.27 cent lower to 2.52 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 1.00 to 4.00 cents lower.
