Block cheese price increased a penny closing at $1.81 with no loads traded. It seems the buyer that pushed price higher Wednesday was back in Thursday but was still not able to get a load filled. This stretches the caution of traders as they have been no other buyers in the block market. Barrels increased 0.50 cent closing at $1.55 with no loads traded. Barrel price has been slowly creeping higher and not keeping pace with the gains of blocks. Butter price declined 1.75 cents closing at $1.9575 with 9 loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price remained unchanged at $1.56 with no loads traded. Dry whey price remained unchanged at 66 cents with no loads traded. Class III futures are 5 cents lower to 12 cents higher. Class IV futures are 10 cent lower to 10 cents higher. Butter futures are 0.40 cent to 2.75 cents lower. Dry whey futures are 0.15 cent to 0.25 cent higher.
