Barrel cheese price increased 3.25 cents to close at $1.81 with 4 loads traded. Butter price declined 2.75 cents closing at $1.7725 with 13 loads traded. Dry whey price slipped 0.25 cent closing at 60 cents with one load traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price declined a penny to $1.53 with 5 loads traded. Class III futures initially tried to rally but could not hold the gains leaving contracts mixed. Futures are 4 cents lower to 15 cents higher. Class IV futures are 6 cents lower to 6 cents higher. Butter futures are 1.97 cents lower to 1.72 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 0.67 cent lower to 1.12 cents higher. The Global Dairy Trade auction trade weighted average increased 2.2 percent on Tuesday's event.
