Block cheese price increased 5.25 cents, closing at $1.8025 with one load traded. Price is now pushing to the top of the trading range. Barrel cheese price increased 8.50 cents, closing at $1.71 with six loads traded. This has provided support to Class III futures pushing some contracts to the highest level since Aug. 16 and the third consecutive day of significant price gains. Butter declined 2.50 cents, closing at $1.7450 with eight loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price increased 1.50 cents, closing at $1.38 with seven loads traded. This is the highest level since 2014. Dry whey price remained unchanged at 58 cents with no loads traded. Class III futures are 3 to 35 cents higher. Class IV futures are 6 to 10 cents higher. Butter futures are 1 cent lower to 0.97 cent higher. Dry whey futures are 0.12 to 1.15 cents higher. September Federal Order class price will be announced Wednesday afternoon.
