Block cheese price increased 7 cents closing at $1.87215 with no loads traded. That is bullish as no sellers showed up to the spot market. This pushed blocks above the sideways trading range that has been prevalent in the market. The trend may be turning up for the time being. Barrel cheese price increased 4.50 cents closing at $1.7550 with 2 loads traded. Barrels have been in a nice uptrend over the past month. This pushed Class III futures higher with prices ranging from unchanged to as much as 32 cents higher in November. Butter price increase 1.50 cents closing at $1.76 with 1 load traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price increased 1.75 cents closing at $1.3975 with one load traded. Dry whey price remained unchanged at 58 cents with no loads traded. Class IV futures are 1 cent lower to 16 cents higher. Butter futures are 0.50 cent lower to 2.75 cent higher. Dry whey futures are 0.42 cent to 1.45 cents higher. USDA will release the August Agricultural Prices report Thursday afternoon.
