Barrel cheese price increased 2 cents closing at $1.49 with one load traded. An unfilled bid and an uncovered offer remained at the close. This has had no positive impact on the market with most Class III futures showing losses upwards of 15 cents. The only contract showing a gain is February at 8 cents higher. Dry whey increased a penny to 52.75 cents with no loads traded. This is the highest price it has been since August 20th. Butter price increased 0.50 cent closing at $1.79 with one load traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price declined 1.25 cents closing at $1.3450 with 5 loads traded. Class IV futures are 7 cents to 25 cents lower. Butter futures are 0.05 cent to 1.75 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 0.25 cent lower to 1.00 cents higher.
