Barrel cheese price initially increased 0.25 cent before an offer pushed price down 1.25 cents to $1.54 with 2 loads traded. Only offers for cheese remained at the close of trading. Class III futures were higher with some contracts posting double-digit gains until spot cheese traded. Futures then lost ground with most contracts moving lower in closer months. Futures are currently 20 cents lower to 11 cents higher. Butter price remained steady at $1.7150 with no loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk gained 0.25 closing at $1.1725 with no loads traded. Dry whey price increased 0.25 closing at 59.50. Class IV futures are 10 cents to 11 cents higher. Butter futures are 0.60 cent lower to 1.70 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 0.20 cent lower to 0.13 cent higher.
