MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

Block cheese price fell 6 cents, closing at $1.47 with 10 loads traded. There were 2 unfilled bids and one uncovered offer remaining at the close. Barrel cheese price declined 1.50 cents, closing at $1.4750 with four loads traded. There was one unfilled bid and one uncovered offer remaining at the close. Dry whey price remained at 30.25 with 15 loads traded. Class III futures are 1 to 14 cents lower with June showing the greatest loss. Butter price increased 3.75 cents, closing at $2.4375 with three loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price slipped 0.50 cents, closing at $1.1650 with three loads traded. Class IV futures are steady to 3 cents higher. Butter futures are 1.70 cents lower to 0.27 cent higher. Dry whey futures are steady to 0.65 cent lower.
