Thursday Midday Dairy Market Summary - Cheese Prices Move Lower

OUTSIDE MARKETS SUMMARY:

CORN: 14.75 Higher
SOYBEANS: 16 Higher
SOYBEAN MEAL: $8.30 Higher
LIVE CATTLE: $0.50 Lower
DOW JONES: 181 Points Higher
NASDAQ: 18 Points Higher
CRUDE OIL: $1.18 Higher

MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

Cheese blocks fell 9.50 cents, closing at $2.0875 with no loads traded. Barrels were down 7.50 cents to $1.7250 with 3 loads traded. Class III futures are 42 to 4 cents lower, while Class IV hasn't traded yet today. Butter was unchanged at $2.4300, with no buyers or sellers doing any business. Grade a nonfat dry milk slipped 0.25 cents to close at $1.2925 with 1 load traded. Dry whey price remained at $0.3550 with no loads traded. Dry whey futures are 0.47 cents lower to 0.40 cents higher. Butter futures are 2.75 cents lower to 3.35 cents higher.
