Block cheese uncovered some buying interest at the lower level. Price increased a penny to $1.67 with two loads traded. Barrels declined 1.50 cents, closing at $1.4450 with eight loads traded. Prices have reached a level at which buyers were willing to pick up supplies. Sellers were willing to sell in order to move supply rather than hold back to wait for another price rally. Butter price increased a penny to $1.96 with six loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price declined 1.50 cents, ending at $1.53 with two loads traded. The decrease of nonfat dry milk hit Class IV futures with double-digit losses as nonfat has been the strength of Class IV prices. Dry whey price gained 1.50 cents, closing at 70 cents with no loads traded. This is just 0.25 cents shy of the high set on April 20. Class III futures are 19 cents lower to 10 cents higher. Class IV futures are 15 to 38 cents lower. Butter futures are 0.35 cent lower to 1.50 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 0.45 cent lower to 1.10 cents higher.
