Block cheese price remained unchanged at $1.7350 with no loads traded. There was an unfilled bid remaining on the board at the close of the trading period. Barrel cheese price increased 3.75 cents closing at $1.43 with 1 load traded. Butter price slipped a penny, closing at $1.7875 with 15 loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price gained 2 cents closing at $1.36 with 3 loads traded. Price is now above the previous recent high and moves it back to the highest price since 2014. Dry whey price gained 2 cents closing at 50.50 with 1 load traded. Class III futures are 7 cents to 54 cents higher with October showing the greatest gain. Class IV futures are 10 cents to 24 cents higher. Futures have been on a nice uptrend due to the strength of both butter and nonfat dry milk. Butter futures are 0.50 cent lower to 3.00 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 0.50 cent to 1.65 cents higher.
