Block cheese price declined 3.75 cents, closing at $1.6925 with one load traded. Barrel cheese price declined 2.75 cents, closing at $1.4775 with four loads traded. Blocks just cannot find a bottom. There was an unfilled bid for a load of blocks way down at $1.60. Hopefully, that is not where price is headed. Buyers continue to purchase on an as-needed basis being unconcerned over supply. Butter price declined 2 cents, closing at $1.6625 with 16 loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price remained unchanged at $1.25 with two loads traded. Dry whey price increased 0.25 cent, closing at 53 cents with one load traded. Class III futures are holding rather well with contracts unchanged to 6 cents lower. Class IV futures have not yet traded. Dry whey futures are steady to $0.50 cent lower. USDA will release the July Cold Storage report Monday.
