Barrel cheese price declined a penny to $1.49 after remaining steady all week. There were 5 loads traded. Even though blocks took back what was gained Thursday and then some along with barrels declining, traders continue to hold onto some optimism. Class III futures are1-48 cents lower with March posting the greatest loss. Butter price jumped 7 cents closing at $1.3950 with 2 loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price remained unchanged at $1.1125 with 2 loads traded. Dry whey price remained unchanged at 54.25 with no loads traded. Class IV futures are 4 cents lower. Butter futures are steady to 1.87 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 0.35 cent to 1.33 cents higher.
