Block cheese price declined a penny to $1.90 with no loads traded. Barrel cheese slipped 0.50 cent to $1.5750 with no loads traded. The fact that prices slipped with no business being done does keep an overall bearishness in the market. Buyers are just not ready to step in more aggressively even after the recent decline. Butter price increased 1.25 cents, closing at $1.30 with 2 loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price increased 1.25 cents to $1.20 with 14 loads traded. Dry whey price remained unchanged at 51 cents with no loads traded. Class III futures are 20 cents lower to 8 cents higher with February showing the greatest loss. Class IV futures are 2 to 33 cents higher. Butter futures are 1.40 to 2.10 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 0.50 to 1.75 cents higher. Grain futures post double-digit gains and strong export sales.
