MIDDAY MARKET UPDATE:

The block cheese price jumped 6.00 cents, closing at $1.7675 with seven loads traded. The barrel cheese price increased 3.00 cents, closing at $1.7700 with no loads traded and three unfilled bids remaining at the close. The dry whey price increased a penny, closing at 64.00 cents with no loads traded. Class III futures are 5 cents lower to 29 cents higher. The butter price fell back 4.25 cents, closing at $1.6275 with three loads traded. There were four unfilled bids and 10 uncovered offers remaining at the close. Grade A nonfat dry milk remained unchanged at $1.1150 with no loads traded. Class IV futures are 1 to 14 cents lower. Butter futures are 1.50 to 5.35 cents lower. Dry whey futures are 0.25 to 2.25 cents higher. Cheese futures are 0.70 cent lower to 3.30 cents higher.
