Both blocks and barrel cheese prices remained unchanged at $1.71 and $1.38 respectively. No buyers or sellers showed up to do any business. Butter followed the same pattern with price remaining unchanged at $1.7650 with no loads traded. There was an offer posted up at $1.82 with no other interest from anyone else. Grade A nonfat dry milk showed some activity with price increasing 1.25 cents closing at $1.3325 with 3 loads traded. Dry whey price declined 1.25 cents closing at 48.50 cents with 2 loads traded. This moved price back down to the level it was about a month ago. It was the weakness of dry whey that turned Class III milk futures lower. Futures are 19 cents lower to 4 cents higher. Class IV futures are 5 cents lower to 8 cents higher. Butter futures are 1.15 cents lower to 1.00 cents higher. Dry whey futures are steady. The July Federal Order prices will be announced Wednesday.
