Block cheese price declined 5 cents closing at $1.6325 with 4 loads traded. Barrel cheese price declined 7.25 cents closing at $1.6275 with 16 loads traded. Barrel price declined to $1.6250 before coming back at the close on a final trade for the session. This is again hitting Class III futures hard with contracts ranging from 1 cent to 47 cents lower with June taking the brunt of it. Front-month May is 2 cents higher as it has now settled into a sideways pattern. Butter price increased 3 cents closing at $1.8525 with no loads traded. Grade A nonfat dry milk price increased 0.75 closing at $1.3125 with 6 loads traded. Dry whey price slipped 0.50 cent ending at 63.50 cents with 4 loads traded. Class IV futures are 13 cents higher. Butter futures are 0.10 cent to 1.00 cents higher. Dry whey futures are 0.25 cent to 1.00 cents higher. The Global Dairy Trade auction trade weighted average declined 0.2% Tuesday.
